The action camera leader has announced the launch of a new model – GoPro 6. The gadget is available worldwide and you can order one for $500. The motto for the new device is „image quality”. But let’s see what are the most important features:

1. Image stabilization

It looks like the company puts a lot of effort to make the footage as quality as possible. GoPro owners already know how disappointed you are because of the shaky images. With the new Hero 6, GoPro promises Advanced image stabilization system that eliminates camera shake and vibrations, whether from the bumpy road you’re ripping down. The stabilization is a digital effect – the camera analyzes your footage frame by frame, then crops in slightly to keep the image centered, mitigating shaking in the process.

2. Shooting Mode

The new action camera can now record both 4K at 60 frames-per-second, and 1080p at 240 frames-per-second. This means one can get stunning slow motion footage at full HD, and a much smoother ultra HD image. Also, the Hero 6 captures HEVC codec video, which means lower power consumption, less storage used, while still having great image quality.

3. GoPro 6 price in US and Worldwide

The new camera costs $499 in the US, £499.99 in Great Britain and 570 Euro in the European Union.

4. Transfer Speed

Footage can offload to your phone three times faster than with the Hero 5. That happens due to the new Wi-Fi radio inside that increases considerably the transfer speeds.

5. QuickStories & Voice Commands

Hero 6 supports more voice commands to free your hands. That means you can say “GoPro, turn on” and it starts shooting. On the other hand, Quickstories is a way to go from great experiences to the story that you can share – GoPro will automatically copy your photos and video to your phone  and the GoPro app will edit that into a video for you.
